# Duplicate a Calendar Pro to another channel
Need the same events in more than one place? You can duplicate an existing Calendar Pro into another Microsoft Teams channel, so a new calendar starts life with a full copy of the original events.
# Duplicate a calendar
- 1
Create a new Calendar Pro tab in the target channel.
- 2
Name your calendar when Calendar Pro prompts you with Welcome to Calendar Pro.
- 3
Turn on Clone from an existing Calendar Pro.
- 4
In Select a calendar to copy, choose the calendar you want to duplicate.
- 5
Click Save.
Calendar Pro imports the events and emails you when the copy is complete.

# Troubleshoot a failed duplication
If the duplication does not finish, or you get an email saying something went wrong, work through these steps.
- 1
Retry the duplication. If possible, duplicate into a different channel.
- 2
If the error email persists, contact us through the chatbot and have your Calendar ID and the email tied to the subscription ready.
# Common questions
# Will events added after duplication appear in the copy?
No. Duplication is a one-time import. Events created after the duplication are not synced automatically. To bring newer events across, run the duplication again.
# Can I duplicate the same calendar into multiple channels?
Yes. You can create several duplicates in different channels. Each duplicate is independent, so updates in one do not affect the others.
# Does duplicating a calendar also copy permissions and settings?
No. Only the events are copied. You need to set up permissions, tags, and calendar settings again in the duplicated calendar.
# If I delete events in the original, do they disappear in the duplicate?
No. Once duplicated, the calendars are independent. Events you delete in the original do not affect the duplicate.
