# Calendar Pro time zones

Calendar Pro shows every event in a single time zone so your team reads the same schedule. You can set the time zone for the whole shared calendar, or override it on a single event when you plan across regions.

# Change the time zone for the whole calendar

Use the calendar-level time zone when your channel works mostly from one region.

  1. 1

    Open the time zone selector.

    1. At the top of the calendar, find the TimeZone dropdown.
  2. 2

    Pick a time zone.

    1. Click the dropdown to reveal the list of available time zones.
    2. Scroll the list or use the search box to find the zone you want.
    3. Select it by continent and region, for example America/New_York.

For some regions you can narrow the zone further by adding a second slash, for example America/Indiana/Indianapolis.

  3. 3

    Confirm the change.

    1. The calendar updates automatically to the new time zone.
    2. Public holidays refresh to match the region tied to the new zone.

When a region name has more than one word or a space in it, type part of the name to filter the list, then pick the exact match.

# Common questions

# Does changing the calendar time zone affect all participants?

Yes. Updating the calendar time zone applies to everyone in that channel, and events and holidays adjust automatically.

# What happens to existing events when I change the calendar time zone?

Events shift to the new time zone. An event set at 10:00 AM, for example, then displays at the equivalent time in the new zone.

# Can I display more than one time zone at once?

No. The calendar view shows one active time zone at a time. You can still give individual events a different zone when you need to.

# Will public holidays update when I change the time zone?

Yes. The public holiday list refreshes automatically to match the region linked to the new time zone. See set up and change public holidays for more.

# How should I handle a team spread across time zones?

Keep the calendar on your main team time zone, and set the event-level time zone only for specific cross-regional meetings. This keeps the schedule clear for everyone.
