# Activity Logs
The Activity logs give you a full history of what has happened across your vault. While each item also keeps its own history, the activity logs offer a single, vault-wide view that is ideal for auditing and keeping an eye on who changed what.
# View the activity logs
# How can I open the activity logs?
|
- Open the vault Settings menu.
- Select Activity logs.
- The activity logs page opens, listing every recorded action for the vault. Use the back arrow or Close to return to your items.
Note: The activity logs require a Premium subscription, and only a vault Owner can open them. If you don't meet these conditions, the option appears locked.
# What the activity logs show
# What information is recorded?
|
The activity logs are presented as a table. Each row is one recorded action, with the following columns:
- Item — the item the action relates to.
- Activity Type — what happened (for example the item was created, edited, removed or retrieved).
- Who — the person who performed the action.
- Date — when the action took place.
If no actions have been recorded yet, KeePass Pro shows the message No activity logs saved for this vault.
# Why use the activity logs
The activity logs are your audit trail for the whole vault. Because they bring together the actions of every member in one place, they help you:
- See at a glance who has been adding, editing or deleting items.
- Track changes over time without opening each item individually.
- Keep your shared vault accountable and transparent for your team.
Tip: The activity logs cover the entire vault. To review the changes made to a single item, open that item and switch to its History tab instead.
