# Tags in Calendar Pro
Tags let you categorize Calendar Pro events by project, team, or task type, then filter the calendar to show only what matters to you. For example, tag each employee's paid time off (PTO) so managers can filter the calendar by person and see who is in or out of the office at a glance.
# Add tags when creating an event
Apply tags directly from the event form so events are categorized as you create them.
- 1
Click New to open the event form in Calendar Pro.
- 2
In the Tags field under Advanced, type a tag name and click Add.
- 3
Click Save to create the event with its tags.

# Filter events by tag
Once your events are tagged, narrow the calendar view to a single tag to find specific events fast.
- 1
Open the calendar view in Calendar Pro.
- 2
In the Tag dropdown at the top, start typing a tag and select it.
The calendar now shows only the events that carry that tag. Clear the tag to see everything again.

# Manage tags from Tags management
Create, rename, and delete tags in one place so your tag list stays clean and consistent across the calendar.
- 1
Click the Settings gear next to the view selector, then select Tags management.
- 2
To create a tag, click Create new tag, enter a name, and confirm.
- 3
To rename or remove a tag, select it in the list and choose Edit or Delete.
Deleting a tag permanently removes it from every event it was applied to.
# Troubleshooting
# I do not see Tags management
Open the Settings gear inside Calendar Pro, next to the view selector. If the menu item is hidden, set your Microsoft Teams zoom to 100% and try again.
# I can tag events but cannot edit the tag list
Creating and editing tags happens in Tags management. Adding a tag from the event form only applies it to that event; it does not change the shared tag list.
# Do I need a specific plan?
Yes. Tags require a Premium or Platinum license, because they are part of Advanced events (recurring frequency, tags, file attachments, and locations).
