# Do All Channel Users Need a Booking Room Pro License?
No. You only assign a Booking Room Pro license to the team members who need the Premium features. Everyone else can keep using the free experience without a seat.
A team member without a license can still open Booking Room Pro in the channel, view up to 3 rooms, and create single bookings. What they cannot do is use the Premium features: more than 3 rooms, recurring bookings, tags and filtering, printing, one-click copy to Outlook, owners-only permissions, and mobile access.
Premium users get access to all of those features. To learn exactly what changes between the tiers, see the difference between Premium and Free.
A tenant admin buys and assigns licenses in the Teams Pro Admin Center. Sign in with your Microsoft account to manage seats and billing.
# How to decide who needs a license
- Assign a license to anyone who books more than 3 rooms, creates recurring bookings, uses tags, prints planning, or works from the mobile app.
- Leave viewers and light users without a license. They keep read access and single bookings for free.
- Buy seats in the Teams Pro Admin Center and adjust the count at any time as your team grows.
Start with a small number of Premium seats for your power users, then add more from the Admin Center when demand grows.
