# Changing the View and First Day of the Week in Booking Room Pro

Booking Room Pro lets you personalize how the calendar opens for your channel. Choose the view that appears by default and the day your week starts on so the layout matches how your team works.

# Set the default view and first day of the week

    Click the Settings gear next to the Week button, then select Settings.

    Set the Default display mode to the view that should open by default: Day, Week, Month, Timeline View, or List.

    Set the First day of the week to the day your week should start on.

From the same Settings menu you can also turn on Show weekend and Number the weeks to fine-tune the calendar layout.
The default display mode sets the view that opens first. You can still switch between Day, Week, Month, Timeline View, and List at any time from the view selector at the top of the calendar.
