# Do All Channel or Teams Users Need a Parking Pro License?

No. You only need a Parking Pro Premium license for each team member who wants to use the Premium features. Members without a license keep working in the Free experience, so you pay only for the people who need more than the basics.

Licensing is per user, not per team or per channel. Buy one seat for each member who needs Premium.

# What members without a license can do

A member who does not have a license allocated stays on Free (Basic). That member can:

  • View up to 3 parking places.
  • Create single bookings only (no recurring bookings).
  • Use the shared parking view inside Microsoft Teams.

Members without a license cannot use tags, add a location or address to places, copy bookings to Outlook, or access the mobile app.

# What licensed members get

Members with a Premium license get access to all Premium features, including unlimited parking places, recurring bookings, tags and filtering, location details, one-click copy to Outlook, and owners-only permissions.

# Assign licenses

A tenant admin manages the number of licenses from the Teams Pro Admin Center.

  1. 1

Open the Teams Pro Admin Center and sign in with your Microsoft account.

  2. 2

Click My Products in the top menu, then select Parking Pro.

  3. 3

Click Manage Subscription, then Edit Subscription.

  4. 4

Set the number of licenses to cover every member who needs Premium features, then click Save.

If a member sees a prompt to upgrade when adding a fourth place, they do not have a license yet. Increase your license count to cover them.
