# Does Manager Insights Pro require a Microsoft 365 Copilot license?
Yes. Manager Insights Pro is a declarative agent for Microsoft 365 Copilot and requires an active Copilot license to function. It also requires an active Manager Insights Pro subscription. See the pricing and subscription page.
# What data does Manager Insights Pro analyze?
It analyzes signals from your Microsoft Teams conversations, Outlook emails, and calendar meetings, and uses People data only to identify your direct reports. It looks at frequency, participants, timing, and interaction patterns to describe how your attention is distributed.
# Whose data does it look at?
Only yours and your direct reports', and only within the exact time period you request. Manager Insights Pro is scoped to your own account and never expands beyond your direct reports.
# Does it read the content of my messages?
Manager Insights Pro uses Microsoft 365 Copilot's access to your data. It processes interaction signals and content to generate summaries and insights, always within the boundaries of your own account and tenant.
# Can my manager or HR see my Manager Insights Pro results?
No. Each manager accesses only their own insights, based on their own interactions with their direct reports. There is no organizational dashboard or reporting layer for HR or leadership by default.
# Does it take any actions on my behalf?
No. Manager Insights Pro is a read-and-analyze agent only. It never sends messages, modifies calendar events, or takes any action in your environment.
# Why does every analysis include a confidence level?
Manager Insights Pro always reports a confidence level and never outputs 100 percent. Confidence reflects the volume of interactions, the diversity of channels, and how consistent the signals are, so you can calibrate how much to trust each insight.
# What languages does it support?
Manager Insights Pro ships with English and French, including the activation experience.
