# GPT Pro Q&A
Quick answers to the questions people ask most about GPT Pro, the AI chat assistant for Microsoft Teams. If you are just setting up the app, start with the Get started with GPT Pro guide.
# Access and licensing
# Why do I not see GPT Pro in Teams?
Your tenant admin may need to allow the app first. Ask them to enable GPT Pro in the Microsoft Teams Admin Center.
# Why can I not use GPT Pro after installing it?
A license must be assigned by an administrator before the app becomes active for you. Until a license is assigned, GPT Pro tells you that no license is available.
# Privacy and data
# Does GPT Pro access my Teams chats or emails?
No. GPT Pro only processes the text you type into the chat with it. It does not read your other Teams conversations, channels, or mailbox.
# Does GPT Pro perform actions for me?
No. GPT Pro generates text suggestions and answers. It does not take actions on your behalf in Teams or other apps.
# Is GPT Pro GDPR compliant?
Yes. GPT Pro is hosted on Microsoft Azure in Europe.
# Usage and limits
# How is my message usage counted?
GPT Pro uses a rolling 3-hour window. One message equals one message you send or one reply from GPT Pro, so both sides of the conversation count toward your plan allowance.
# What happens when I reach my message limit?
GPT Pro pauses and shows an upgrade notice. It resumes automatically once your earlier messages age past the 3-hour window, or you can move to a higher plan right away.
