# Start a free trial straight from sign-in 🚀

You no longer need an AppSource purchase to evaluate Agent Control Pro. When an administrator from a tenant with no active subscription signs in, the portal now opens a free trial page instead of a dead-end access-denied message.

How to use it: go to agentcontrol.teams-pro.com (opens new window), sign in with your Microsoft 365 work account, then click Start my 7-day free trial. You land on the Get Started page with your tenant already unlocked.

What the trial includes:

  • The full admin portal for your tenant: inventory, usage reports, and billing reports.
  • The Agent Control Pro agent in Copilot Chat, backed by the live MCP endpoint.
  • Duplicate detection, adoption ranking, and the governance reporting skill.
  • Tenant-isolated storage, scoped to your tenant identifier.

Where the trial stops:

  • Agent listings in Copilot Chat are capped at five agents per answer. The admin portal is not capped.
  • Every Copilot answer carries a visible trial-mode notice.
  • Access ends automatically after seven days, and there is one trial per tenant.

Availability: no credit card, no AppSource purchase, and nothing to cancel. See the limits page for the trial caps.

# Power Platform cost and FinOps answers 💸

Agent Control Pro now answers cost questions alongside adoption questions, so you can compare what an agent costs with how much it is actually used.

# Upload a billing report

A new Billing reports page in the admin portal accepts your Power Platform consumption export.

How to use it:

  1. Open the Power Platform admin center (opens new window).
  2. Go to Billing, then Licenses, and export the Entitlement consumption - per agent details report as CSV.
  3. In the Agent Control Pro portal, open Upload billing report and click Upload and replace.

Only .csv files are accepted, the page shows the maximum file size, and each upload replaces the previous billing report.

# Three new cost questions

The agent gained three cost tools you can reach with plain-English questions in Copilot Chat:

  • Cost for one agent, or a ranked list: total consumption in credits, billed and non-billed, with breakdowns by feature, channel, environment, and product.
  • Raw billing rows: the underlying detail, one row per agent, feature, channel, and tool, returned in pages.
  • Tenant-wide FinOps rollup: grand-total credits, the number of distinct agents, your top agents by cost, and cost broken down by environment, product, and feature.
Cost answers are reported in the billing report's native credits. No currency conversion is applied. When no billing report has been uploaded, Agent Control Pro says so rather than returning an empty answer.

# Two tabs on the reports page

The report view in the admin portal now has a Usage report tab and a Billing report tab, instead of showing usage only. Usage opens by default.

# New conversation starter: Cost vs adoption 💸

The ⚠️ Active duplicates conversation starter has been replaced with 💸 Cost vs adoption, which asks "Which agents cost the most but have the least adoption?" This puts the new FinOps answers one click away.

Duplicate findings are still available. Use the 🔍 Find overlapping agents starter, or ask for duplicates in your own words.

# One reminder email for both uploads 📬

The scheduled reminder that tells the subscription purchaser how stale the current data is now covers both reports in a single message, with a freshness tile and an upload link for the Copilot usage report and for the Power Platform billing report.
