# Add Map Pro to a team channel

Add Map Pro to a specific channel when you want a map that belongs to that channel alone. Each Map Pro tab keeps its own set of Places and Trips, so a project channel and a travel channel can each maintain a separate map without mixing their data. You add the tab straight from AppSource inside Microsoft Teams.

# Add the map to a channel

    In Microsoft Teams, open Apps (AppSource) and search for Map Pro.

    Click Add to a team.

    In Type a team or channel name, choose the specific channel you want to add the map to.

    Click Set up a tab, then click Save in the pop-up window.

The data on each Map Pro tab is tied to that tab. Places and trips you add in one channel do not appear in another channel, so add the map to every channel that needs its own map.
