# Parking Pro Q&A

Quick answers to the questions teams ask most about Parking Pro. If you are just setting up the app, start with the Parking Pro basic set up guide.

# Pricing and licensing

# Does everyone in the channel need a license?

No. Only users who need Premium features require a paid license. Users without a license can still view bookings and create single reservations, but they see up to 3 parking spaces and cannot use tags, recurring bookings, or copy to Outlook.

# What is the difference between Free and Premium?

Parking Pro has two plans: Free and Premium.

  • Free: shared parking view, up to 3 parking spaces, and unlimited single reservations.
  • Premium: everything in Free, plus unlimited parking spaces, recurring reservations, tags, event locations, one-click copy to Outlook, owners-only and custom permissions, and mobile access.
There is no Platinum tier for Parking Pro. The app is sold as Free or Premium only.

# Where do I buy or manage my subscription?

You buy and manage Premium in the Teams-Pro Admin Center (opens new window), where you handle seats, billing, invoices, and cancellation or reactivation.

# How do I add more than 3 parking spaces?

Upgrade to Premium. Free tabs are capped at 3 parking spaces. Once your tab is licensed, you can add an unlimited number of places from Manage places.

# Features and usage

# How do I book and manage parking spaces?

Name your Parking Pro tab, open Manage places to add your parking spots, then select a time slot in the view to create a booking. You can edit or delete a booking by opening it from the calendar view.

# Can I create recurring bookings?

Yes, with Premium. Recurring bookings are a Premium feature.

Recurring bookings can only be scheduled for up to 1 year.

# How do tags work?

Tags let you categorize and filter reservations, for example by "Employee," "Guest," or "Executive." You create and edit them in Tag management, then filter the parking view by tag.

Tags require a Parking Pro Premium license.

# Can I print the reservation schedule?

Yes. Open Settings, select Print, and use your computer's print settings. You can use the print options and the Teams zoom level to change the output format.

# How do time zones work?

You can change the time zone from the drop-down at the top of the Parking Pro view or from the booking options. Displayed times adjust to the selected time zone.

# How do notifications work?

If enabled in Notifications, Parking Pro sends Teams notifications to participants when a booking is added, updated, or deleted.

# Can I copy a booking to Outlook?

Yes, with Premium. You can copy important bookings from Parking Pro to Outlook with one click.

# Can I use Parking Pro on mobile?

Mobile access requires a Premium subscription.

# Permissions

# What permission modes are available?

Open Settings, then Permissions, and choose one of the following:

  • Everybody in this channel can add/edit/delete bookings (all plans).
  • Only the owner(s) can add/edit/delete bookings (Premium).
  • Customize permissions, where you set add, modify, and delete rights per member (Premium).
Owners-only and custom permissions are available to Parking Pro Premium users.

# Data and compliance

# Does Parking Pro run inside Microsoft 365?

Yes. Parking Pro is a Microsoft Teams app that runs inside your Microsoft 365 tenant, so access follows your existing Teams and channel membership.

# Is Parking Pro GDPR-compliant, and where is my data hosted?

Parking Pro is part of the Teams Pro suite, which states GDPR compliance. The services are hosted in the EU (Ireland) on Microsoft Azure.

# Are your apps restricted for external users?

Not by default. Access for guests and external users depends on your Microsoft 365 external collaboration policies in Teams.

# Troubleshooting and support

# My app or tab will not open in Teams (the title shows but nothing loads, or it is missing on mobile).

This usually comes from tenant policies. Ask your IT team to check:

  • App registration disabled
  • Enterprise application disabled
  • A new or changed Conditional Access policy
  • Admin consent revoked
  • A tenant-wide setting disabled

If you are on the Free plan, note that mobile access requires Premium.

# Parking Pro is not working. What should I send to support?

Contact us in the chat inside the Teams-Pro Admin Center (opens new window). Please include:

  • Your plan (Free or Premium)
  • Your role (IT admin, user, HR, and so on)
  • A detailed description of the issue
  • When it started (date and time, or after a specific change)
  • Whether you are a tab owner, plus the Tenant ID and channel name if possible
  • A screenshot or recording of the issue

This lets us investigate right away.

# We changed tenants (Microsoft 365 migration). Can we move our parking data?

Contact support through the Teams-Pro Admin Center (opens new window) with the details of your migration so the team can advise on the options for your setup.
