# What's New in Map Pro
The latest features and improvements in Map Pro, the app that puts your places and trips on a shared map inside Microsoft Teams. This page highlights what Map Pro can do today so your team always sees locations in context.
# Map and Satellite views 🛰️
Choose the background that fits the moment. Use the standard Map view for clear street names and labels, or switch to Satellite view for real aerial imagery when you want to see terrain, buildings, and surroundings.
- Fast switching: the view control sits in the top left corner of the map.
- Nothing moves: your saved places and trips stay in place on either background.

# Places and trips 📍
Add the locations that matter to your team as Places, each with a title, an address, and a description. Plan routes as Trips with a start point, a destination, and a transport mode.
- Transport modes: Car, Train, Foot, and Bicycle.
- Clear structure: places and trips each have their own list in the side panel.

# Connect Calendar Pro and Contacts Pro 🔗
Map Pro works with the rest of the Teams Pro suite. Link Calendar Pro to plot event locations, or Contacts Pro to plot contact addresses, and everything appears on the same map.
- Connect up to 3 Calendar Pro tabs and up to 3 Contacts Pro tabs.
- Connections use each tab's unique identifier, so setup stays quick.
