# Mail Pro Limits
Knowing what Mail Pro can and cannot do helps you get useful answers on the first try. Mail Pro is an AI email assistant that reads your Microsoft 365 mailbox and turns plain language requests into precise searches. These limits keep those results fast and relevant.
# Platform
- Microsoft 365 Copilot: Mail Pro runs as an agent inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. You use it in Microsoft Teams and Copilot wherever your organization has Copilot enabled. It is not a standalone web or desktop app.
# Results per query
- Mail Pro returns up to 10 emails for each request. If you ask for more, it still returns the 10 most relevant matches.
Add a sender, a date range, or a subject to your request so the 10 results you get are the ones you actually need.
# Mailbox scope
- Mail Pro searches your own mailbox only and works read-only. It reads your mail to find, summarize, and translate messages, and it does not send, delete, move, or change any email.
# Supported filters
You can combine these in one request:
- Sender and recipient
- Subject and body text
- Received date
- Read or unread status
- Attachments
- Importance (for example, high importance)
# Date ranges
- Natural time frames like "last week" or "since last month" are converted into exact dates. If your request does not include a time frame, Mail Pro defaults to the last 30 days.
# Subscription
- Mail Pro is part of the Teams Pro suite and requires an active subscription. Without an eligible license you see an activation card that prompts you to activate or upgrade. Plans map to the Starter, Premium, and Platinum tiers.
