# Image Pro Q&A

Quick answers to the questions teams ask most about Image Pro. If you are just getting started, see How to upload an image.

# Pricing and licensing

# Do I need a paid license to use Image Pro?

No. Image Pro is free to use. Uploading, editing, saving, and pinning an image are all available without a paid license, and there are no premium-gated Image Pro features.

Image Pro is part of the Teams Pro suite. Other Teams Pro apps have their own paid plans, so a subscription you hold for another app does not change what Image Pro offers.

# Where do I manage billing for my other Teams Pro apps?

In the Teams-Pro Admin Center (opens new window), where you handle subscriptions, seats, invoices, and payment methods for the Teams Pro apps that have paid plans.

# Features and usage

# How do I add an image?

Open the Image Pro tab, then upload an image from either your SharePoint library or your computer (this device). For the full walkthrough, see How to upload an image.

# Can I edit the image after uploading it?

Yes. Once an image is uploaded, you can customize it with the built-in editing tools and then save your changes. Remember to save before you leave the tab, since unsaved changes are discarded.

# What image formats are supported?

Image Pro accepts PNG and JPEG files. If you try to upload another format, the app reports a file-format error and the upload does not complete.

# Is there a file size limit?

Image Pro does not define a fixed file size limit for uploads. Very large files may take longer to upload and edit, so use a reasonably sized image where you can.

# Where is my edited image stored?

Your edited image is saved automatically to your SharePoint library, so your edits are not lost and can be opened again at any time.

# What does "pinning" an image mean?

After you save, the edited image is pinned to the current tab so you can view it without browsing your SharePoint library.

Each tab holds one pinned image. If you upload and edit a new image in the same tab, the previously pinned image is replaced by the new one.

# Data and compliance

# Where is my image data stored?

Your images live in your own Microsoft 365 environment, in the SharePoint library tied to the channel where the tab is installed. They stay under your tenant's Microsoft 365 governance, retention, and access controls.

# Is Image Pro GDPR-compliant?

Yes. Image Pro follows the same data-protection and GDPR commitments as the wider Teams Pro suite, and image content is kept inside your Microsoft 365 tenant rather than in a separate copy.

# Where are Witivio's services hosted?

Witivio's services run on Microsoft Azure. The images themselves remain in your Microsoft 365 SharePoint environment.

# Are your apps restricted for external users?

Not by default. Access for guests and external users depends on your Microsoft 365 external collaboration policies in Microsoft Teams, which your tenant admin controls.

# Troubleshooting and support

# My upload failed or was rejected.

Check the file type first: Image Pro accepts PNG and JPEG only. If the file is a supported format and still fails, try a smaller version of the image, then reload the tab.

# My tab is not opening in Microsoft Teams.

This usually stems from tenant policies. Ask your IT team to check:

  • App registration disabled
  • Enterprise application disabled
  • A new or changed Conditional Access policy
  • Admin consent revoked
  • A tenant-wide setting disabled

# Image Pro is not working. What should I send to support?

Contact us in the chat inside the Teams-Pro Admin Center (opens new window). Please include:

  • A detailed description of the issue
  • When it started (date and time, or after a specific change)
  • The channel name and, if possible, the Tenant ID
  • A screenshot or recording of the issue

This lets us investigate right away.
